A bit early I know, but I simply couldn’t wait to say thanks. I also wanted to announce that our newsletter is taking a Thanksgiving break to visit her family in News Zealand 🙂

My team and I are thankful for each and every one of you. We spend most of our awake hours working with you and for you. We really enjoy all the techie mambo jumbo stuff – not just because we love technology, but also because we have been gifted with a great selection of people as clients.

From our little corner, my team and I will continue working hard to play our part in the success of your business. I also secretly hope that through the content of this newsletter and our random chats, I get to add more quality and color to your life. Here is me wishing for a healthier you this week: check out this fun article with healthy twists on classic Thanksgiving recipes.

As we inch towards the holiday season, may you find yourself surrounded with joy, gratitude, and positive vibes. Let the preparations for the feast begin!

COVID Detector for Office Spaces

Imagine sitting at your desk when you get an alert from your building manager. You’re told that, while no one appears sick, COVID-19 has been detected near your cubicle. You calmly pack up your things and head home. Over the next few days, you get tested for COVID-19. Luckily, the results are negative. But it ends up that your manager was positive—and with a heads up, she was able to get onto antivirals before the infection worsened and someone else got sick. This is not the future of COVID-19 detection. It is the present. Read here to learn more.

Fibonacci Day is November 23rd

Also known as Leonardo of Pisa and Leonardo Fibonacci, Leonardo Bonacci invented a pattern of counting that continues to influence math and technology today. The pattern is made up of numbers that sum the previous two numbers before them — 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13 — and so on. The sequence is used in computing, stock trading, and architecture and design. Here are some fun, celebratory activities to try!

Facebook’s (Un)Popularity

CNN conducted a poll on a random national sample of 1,004 adult to gauge their feelings towards Facebook. The general consensus? Democrats and Republicans alike have minimal trust in big tech companies to act in the users’ best interest, though the details behind that sentiment differ by a number of variables. This article has the scoop.

Website & Menu

We covered this spot two weeks ago, but Burak wasn’t able to participate due to a fresh dental procedure. Now that the team is back to chewing solids, we circled back so he could enjoy the goods as well. Burak chose the Gyros plate and ordered some Ruben Rolls for the table, Hannah ordered the S.U.V with a side of Lentil Soup, and Daniel had the Monte Cristo sandwich. Happy campers were found all around!
